ABOUT RAJAN IP

Renuka Rajan is a dual-licensed trademark attorney in both India and the US, having been admitted to the Indian Bar since 2014 and the New York Bar since 2016. As an intellectual property lawyer, her focus is on trademark, copyright, and design prosecution, as well as infringement, opposition, cancellation proceedings and domain name disputes. Her clientele spans various industries, including consumer packaged goods, agro-chemicals, telecommunications, fashion, information technology, pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverages, and cosmetics.

Renuka holds an LLB degree from National Law University, Delhi and LLM degree from The George Washington University Law School. Her academic pursuits have significantly contributed to her experience in intellectual property law, enabling her to navigate complex legal frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. 

Throughout her career, Renuka has been involved in intricate cases, such as advising on derivative works by different artists concerning the rights of the original artist, interpreting comparative advertising through implied comparison, and providing counsel on ambush marketing and its implications, to list only a few.
